Technical Writer
Write the documentation, guides, and reference material that help developers and users get the most out of TAL Corp's models and APIs.
About This Role
Great documentation is a product in itself. The Technical Writing team ensures every developer and user has the information they need, the moment they need it.
Responsibilities
- ▸Write and maintain API reference documentation, SDKs guides, and tutorials
- ▸Own the TAL Corp documentation site structure, navigation, and content strategy
- ▸Partner with engineering and product teams to document new features on launch day
- ▸Conduct documentation usability testing with real developers
- ▸Build a documentation style guide and enforce consistency across all content
Requirements
- ▸BS in Technical Communication, Computer Science, or Journalism
- ▸3+ years technical writing for software products or APIs
- ▸Ability to read and understand code in Python, TypeScript, and cURL
- ▸Experience with docs-as-code workflows (Markdown, Git, static site generators)
- ▸Strong editorial judgement and meticulous attention to detail
Nice to Have
- ▸Prior experience documenting AI or ML products
- ▸Background in developer experience or UX writing
- ▸Familiarity with OpenAPI/Swagger specification for API docs generation
