SecOps Intern
Protect TAL Corp's AI systems and data — learning security operations from the inside of a frontier AI lab.
About This Role
Security at an AGI lab is uniquely challenging. As a SecOps intern, you will learn to defend some of the most valuable intellectual property in the world alongside experienced security engineers.
Responsibilities
- ▸Monitor security logs and assist in triaging alerts from SIEM platforms
- ▸Help conduct vulnerability scans and track remediation efforts
- ▸Assist in writing and reviewing security policies and runbooks
- ▸Support the team in security awareness training and phishing simulations
Requirements
- ▸Currently pursuing a BS or MS in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or IT
- ▸Understanding of common security threats (OWASP Top 10, phishing, malware)
- ▸Basic knowledge of Linux, networking, and cloud security concepts
- ▸Analytical mindset and attention to detail
Nice to Have
- ▸CompTIA Security+ or CEH coursework
- ▸Experience with CTF competitions or bug bounty programmes
- ▸Familiarity with tools like Burp Suite, Nmap, or Metasploit
