People Operations Coordinator

About This Role

Great people operations is invisible when it works and painful when it doesn't. The People Ops Coordinator makes sure every employee experience — from their first day to their last — is smooth, fair, and positive.

Responsibilities

▸Own HRIS administration — employee records, system updates, data integrity
▸Manage onboarding and offboarding logistics end-to-end
▸Process payroll changes, benefits enrolment, and leave management
▸Maintain HR compliance — employment documents, I-9 verification, state filings
▸Handle employee enquiries on benefits, policies, and HR processes
▸Coordinate performance review cycles and employee survey logistics
▸Support the People team with reporting, analytics, and project coordination

Requirements

▸BS in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
▸2+ years HR operations or people operations experience
▸Strong attention to detail and comfort managing sensitive, confidential information
▸Experience with HRIS platforms (Rippling, Workday, BambooHR, or similar)
▸Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
▸Clear, professional written communication

Nice to Have

▸Experience at a fast-growing startup
▸Background in payroll processing or benefits administration
▸Familiarity with Texas employment law and compliance requirements
