Network Engineering Intern

Design and troubleshoot the networks that connect TAL Corp's global AI infrastructure — from data centres to edge nodes.

About This Role

AI training clusters demand ultra-low-latency, high-bandwidth networking. As a network engineering intern, you will learn to design and operate networks at a scale most engineers never see.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in configuring and monitoring network devices, firewalls, and load balancers
  • Help troubleshoot network performance issues and connectivity problems
  • Document network topologies and maintain infrastructure diagrams
  • Support the team in capacity planning and network security audits
Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a BS or MS in Computer Science, IT, or Networking
  • Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols
  • Basic knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, and network security principles
  • Familiarity with Linux networking and command-line tools
Nice to Have
  • CCNA coursework or certification in progress
  • Experience with Wireshark, tcpdump, or similar network analysis tools
  • Lab experience with network simulators (GNS3, Packet Tracer)
