Network Engineering Intern
Design and troubleshoot the networks that connect TAL Corp's global AI infrastructure — from data centres to edge nodes.
About This Role
AI training clusters demand ultra-low-latency, high-bandwidth networking. As a network engineering intern, you will learn to design and operate networks at a scale most engineers never see.
Responsibilities
- ▸Assist in configuring and monitoring network devices, firewalls, and load balancers
- ▸Help troubleshoot network performance issues and connectivity problems
- ▸Document network topologies and maintain infrastructure diagrams
- ▸Support the team in capacity planning and network security audits
Requirements
- ▸Currently pursuing a BS or MS in Computer Science, IT, or Networking
- ▸Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols
- ▸Basic knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, and network security principles
- ▸Familiarity with Linux networking and command-line tools
Nice to Have
- ▸CCNA coursework or certification in progress
- ▸Experience with Wireshark, tcpdump, or similar network analysis tools
- ▸Lab experience with network simulators (GNS3, Packet Tracer)
