ML Research Intern
Contribute to frontier ML research alongside some of the best researchers in AGI — and publish the results.
About This Role
Our research interns work on real open problems, not toy projects. The best interns leave with a paper submission.
Responsibilities
- ▸Own an ML research project with a clear hypothesis and experimental plan
- ▸Run experiments at scale on TAL Corp's training infrastructure
- ▸Write up findings as a research report or paper
- ▸Present results to the broader research team
Requirements
- ▸Currently pursuing a PhD in Machine Learning, NLP, or Computer Science
- ▸Strong PyTorch skills and experience training large models
- ▸Clear research taste — ability to identify interesting, tractable problems
- ▸Prior research experience, ideally with at least one publication or preprint
Nice to Have
- ▸Experience with distributed training
- ▸Background in a specific research area (reasoning, multimodal, efficiency, etc.)
- ▸Open-source ML contributions
