Head of Security
Own TAL Corp's security posture — protecting the world's most advanced AI systems from the full spectrum of threats.
About This Role
TAL Corp holds infrastructure and models that represent enormous value and responsibility. The Head of Security owns the systems, culture, and team that protect both.
Responsibilities
- ▸Define and own TAL Corp's security strategy across application, infrastructure, and AI-specific threats
- ▸Build and lead the security team — AppSec, InfraSec, and AI Security
- ▸Own SOC 2, ISO 27001, and additional compliance certifications
- ▸Lead the incident response programme and own the security incident playbook
- ▸Partner with the alignment team on AI-specific security and adversarial threat modelling
- ▸Represent TAL Corp's security posture to enterprise customers and regulators
Requirements
- ▸BS/MS in Computer Science or Cybersecurity
- ▸12+ years security engineering with 5+ years in security leadership
- ▸Deep expertise across application security, cloud security, and threat intelligence
- ▸Experience achieving and maintaining SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001
- ▸CISSP, CISM, or equivalent senior security certification
Nice to Have
- ▸Prior Head of Security or CISO at an AI or deep tech company
- ▸Background in AI-specific security research
- ▸Experience with government or classified security environments
