Head of DevOps

Responsibilities
- ▸Lead and grow the DevOps team across CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and developer tooling
- ▸Own the deployment pipeline strategy across all TAL Corp products and services
- ▸Define and enforce DevOps standards — branching strategy, deployment gates, rollback procedures
- ▸Drive developer experience improvements — build time, local dev, and deploy frequency
- ▸Partner with Security on DevSecOps integration and supply chain security
- ▸Build on-call culture, incident management, and postmortem processes
Requirements
- ▸BS/MS in Computer Science or Systems Engineering
- ▸10+ years DevOps or infrastructure engineering with 4+ years in leadership
- ▸Deep expertise in Kubernetes, Terraform, and major CI/CD platforms
- ▸Strong understanding of GitOps, progressive delivery, and deployment safety
- ▸Experience building DevOps organisations from scratch or through scaling
Nice to Have
- ▸Background in ML infrastructure or GPU cluster management
- ▸Experience with platform engineering and internal developer platforms
- ▸Prior Head of DevOps or equivalent at a high-growth tech company
