Frontend Engineer
Craft the interfaces through which millions of people will experience TAL intelligence — performant, accessible, and visually exceptional.
About This Role
Great AI deserves a great interface. The Frontend team owns every pixel of the TAL Corp product experience — from the landing page to the model playground to the developer dashboard.
Responsibilities
- ▸Build responsive, accessible UI components using React and TypeScript
- ▸Own the performance optimisation of our web properties (Core Web Vitals)
- ▸Implement complex interactive experiences — streaming responses, data visualisation, live dashboards
- ▸Collaborate with designers to translate mockups into production code
- ▸Maintain a shared component library and design system
Requirements
- ▸BS in Computer Science or equivalent
- ▸3+ years frontend engineering experience
- ▸Expert React, TypeScript, CSS, and modern tooling (Vite, Webpack, Turbopack)
- ▸Strong understanding of web performance, accessibility (WCAG), and progressive enhancement
- ▸Experience with SSR/SSG frameworks (Next.js preferred)
Nice to Have
- ▸Experience with WebGL, Three.js, or canvas-based rendering
- ▸Background in design or motion graphics
- ▸Contributions to open-source UI libraries
