SecOps Engineer — Trainee

About This Role
Security operations at an AGI lab is high-stakes work. As a fresher SecOps engineer, you will learn to detect, investigate, and respond to security threats under the guidance of senior security engineers who protect some of the world's most valuable AI systems.
Responsibilities
- ▸Monitor SIEM alerts and assist in triaging security incidents
- ▸Help conduct vulnerability assessments and track remediation efforts
- ▸Assist in implementing and maintaining security policies and access controls
- ▸Support security awareness training and phishing simulation campaigns
- ▸Learn to perform application security reviews and basic penetration testing
Requirements
- ▸BS in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or related field (graduated between 2019 and 2026)
- ▸Understanding of common security threats — OWASP Top 10, malware, phishing, social engineering
- ▸Basic knowledge of Linux, networking, and cloud security concepts
- ▸Familiarity with at least one scripting language — Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- ▸Analytical mindset and meticulous attention to detail
Nice to Have
- ▸CompTIA Security+, CEH, or equivalent coursework
- ▸CTF competition experience or bug bounty findings
- ▸Familiarity with security tools (Burp Suite, Nmap, Metasploit, Splunk)
