DevOps Engineer — Trainee
Learn infrastructure engineering at one of the most technically demanding environments in AI — managing systems that serve millions of users globally.
About This Role
TAL Corp runs complex, GPU-heavy infrastructure at global scale. As a fresher DevOps engineer, you will be immersed in that environment from day one, learning from experienced infrastructure engineers while contributing to real production systems.
Responsibilities
- ▸Assist in maintaining CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation scripts
- ▸Monitor system health dashboards and escalate anomalies to senior engineers
- ▸Write infrastructure-as-code scripts under supervision (Terraform, Helm)
- ▸Participate in on-call rotations with a senior engineer buddy
- ▸Document runbooks, deployment guides, and operational procedures
Requirements
- ▸BS in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field (graduated between 2019 and 2026)
- ▸Solid Linux/Unix command-line skills
- ▸Basic understanding of networking — DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP, load balancing
- ▸Familiarity with at least one cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure) through coursework or personal projects
- ▸Scripting ability in Python or Bash
Nice to Have
- ▸Personal project involving Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud deployment
- ▸AWS Cloud Practitioner or GCP Associate certification
- ▸Experience with GitHub Actions or any CI/CD tool
