Cloud Engineer — Trainee
Build and manage the cloud infrastructure that powers AGI — starting your career at a scale most engineers never experience.
About This Role
TAL Corp operates massive GPU clusters across multiple cloud providers. As a fresher cloud engineer, you will learn to provision, manage, and optimise infrastructure that trains some of the most advanced AI models in the world — from your first week.
Responsibilities
- ▸Assist in provisioning and managing cloud resources using Terraform and infrastructure-as-code
- ▸Monitor cloud infrastructure health, costs, and utilisation metrics
- ▸Support the team in deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters and containerised workloads
- ▸Write automation scripts for routine cloud operations and maintenance tasks
- ▸Complete TAL Corp's cloud engineering foundations programme covering AWS, GCP, and container orchestration
Requirements
- ▸BS in Computer Science, IT, or related field (graduated between 2019 and 2026)
- ▸Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts — compute, storage, networking, IAM
- ▸Familiarity with at least one cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- ▸Comfortable with Linux command line and scripting (Python or Bash)
- ▸Interest in infrastructure automation and distributed systems
Nice to Have
- ▸AWS Cloud Practitioner, Google Cloud Associate, or equivalent certification
- ▸Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or Terraform
- ▸Personal projects involving cloud deployments
