Director of Product — Developer Platform

Own the product strategy for TAL Corp's developer platform — the APIs, SDKs, and tools that thousands of developers build with.

About This Role

The developer platform is TAL Corp's primary channel to the world. This Director owns the product vision, roadmap, and execution for everything the developer ecosystem experiences.

Responsibilities

▸Define and own the developer platform product roadmap and strategy
▸Lead a team of PMs covering API, SDK, documentation, and developer tools
▸Drive developer adoption and retention metrics
▸Build feedback loops from the developer community into the product roadmap
▸Partner with engineering on API design, versioning, and developer experience
▸Define pricing and packaging for developer tiers

Requirements

▸BS in Computer Science or equivalent technical background
▸8+ years product management with 3+ years managing PMs
▸Deep experience in developer tools, APIs, or platform products
▸Technical depth — comfortable with API design, SDKs, and developer workflows
▸Data-driven with strong experience measuring developer product success

Nice to Have

▸Prior experience building developer ecosystems at scale
▸Background in open-source community product management
▸Experience with AI/ML API products
