DEI Programme Manager

Build and lead TAL Corp's diversity, equity, and inclusion programmes — ensuring the team building AGI reflects the full diversity of humanity it serves.

About This Role

TAL Corp's mission is AGI for everyone. That requires a team that looks like everyone. The DEI Programme Manager builds the systems, culture, and accountability structures that make that real — not as aspiration, but as practice.

Responsibilities
  • Design and execute TAL Corp's DEI strategy across hiring, culture, and retention
  • Build diverse candidate pipelines in partnership with the talent acquisition team
  • Run employee resource groups (ERGs) and community-building programmes
  • Analyse representation data and set measurable DEI goals with leadership
  • Design and facilitate inclusive hiring training for all interviewers
  • Build pay equity review processes in partnership with the compensation team
  • Represent TAL Corp externally at DEI conferences and community events
Requirements
  • BS in any field with demonstrated commitment to DEI work
  • 4+ years DEI programme management experience
  • Experience building DEI initiatives in a technical or research organisation
  • Strong data analysis skills — comfortable measuring DEI outcomes rigorously
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to build trust across all levels of the organisation
Nice to Have
  • Prior experience in DEI at an AI lab or research institution
  • Background in organisational psychology or behavioural science
  • Experience with unconscious bias research and evidence-based DEI practices
