Analytics Engineer
Build the analytics models and dashboards that help TAL Corp understand how its products and models are performing.
About This Role
Data-driven decisions require reliable, trusted data. The Analytics Engineering team turns raw product telemetry into the metrics and insights that drive TAL Corp forward.
Responsibilities
- ▸Build and maintain dbt models for product, usage, and model quality metrics
- ▸Own the metrics layer — defining, documenting, and maintaining company KPIs
- ▸Build executive and team dashboards in Looker, Metabase, or similar
- ▸Partner with product, research, and operations to answer data questions fast
- ▸Implement data quality tests and monitoring for all analytics models
Requirements
- ▸BS in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
- ▸2+ years analytics engineering or business intelligence experience
- ▸Expert SQL and strong Python
- ▸Deep experience with dbt, Looker, or similar analytics tooling
- ▸Strong communication skills — able to translate data into clear business insights
Nice to Have
- ▸Experience with product analytics or experimentation platforms
- ▸Background in statistics or causal inference
- ▸Familiarity with AI product metrics and LLM quality evaluation
