Cloud Architect
Design TAL Corp's multi-cloud architecture strategy — ensuring scalability, resilience, cost efficiency, and security at global scale.
About This Role
As TAL Corp scales to serve billions of users, the architectural decisions we make today will define our capabilities for years. This role owns those decisions.
Responsibilities
- ▸Define and own the multi-cloud architecture strategy across AWS, GCP, and Azure
- ▸Design for 99.99% availability across all production model serving systems
- ▸Lead cloud cost optimisation — reserved instances, spot strategy, and rightsizing
- ▸Drive security architecture reviews and compliance certifications (SOC 2, ISO 27001)
- ▸Mentor the infrastructure team on cloud-native best practices
Requirements
- ▸BS/MS in Computer Science or Systems Engineering
- ▸8+ years cloud infrastructure, with 3+ in architecture roles
- ▸Expert-level AWS and/or GCP architecture
- ▸Deep understanding of networking, security, and compliance at scale
- ▸Strong IaC skills — Terraform, CDK, or Pulumi
Nice to Have
- ▸AWS Solutions Architect Professional or GCP Professional Cloud Architect certification
- ▸Experience with GPU-accelerated cloud workloads
- ▸Background in FinOps or cloud financial management
