AI Engineer

AI Engineers at TAL Corp bridge the gap between cutting-edge research and production-grade systems. You will own the full lifecycle of AI models — training, evaluation, optimisation, and deployment — ensuring our intelligence stack is reliable, fast, and continuously improving.

• ▸Build and maintain end-to-end ML pipelines for model training, fine-tuning, and deployment
• ▸Design scalable inference infrastructure for low-latency, high-throughput model serving
• ▸Implement evaluation frameworks to measure model quality, safety, and performance
• ▸Collaborate with research scientists to translate experimental models into production systems
• ▸Optimise model performance through quantisation, distillation, and hardware-aware tuning
• ▸Develop monitoring and alerting systems for model health and drift detection

• ▸BS/MS in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field
• ▸3+ years experience building and deploying ML/AI systems in production
• ▸Strong proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX)
• ▸Experience with model serving infrastructure (TorchServe, Triton, vLLM, or similar)
• ▸Solid understanding of transformer architectures and large language models
• ▸Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)

• ▸Experience with LLM fine-tuning (LoRA, QLoRA, PEFT)
• ▸Background in distributed systems or high-performance computing
• ▸Contributions to open-source ML projects
• ▸Experience with RLHF or preference-based training methods
