Agentic Systems Engineer
Build the scaffolding, tool-use frameworks, and sandbox environments that let TAL models act autonomously — safely.
About This Role
Agentic AI is the next frontier. This role builds the systems that let TAL models use tools, browse the web, write code, and complete long-horizon tasks — all within rigorously safe boundaries.
Responsibilities
- ▸Design and implement tool-use frameworks for production agentic deployments
- ▸Build sandboxed execution environments for code, browser, and file operations
- ▸Develop permission and escalation systems for agentic task control
- ▸Build evaluation harnesses for long-horizon task completion
- ▸Collaborate with alignment team on agentic safety protocols
Requirements
- ▸BS/MS in Computer Science
- ▸4+ years in backend or systems engineering
- ▸Strong Python skills and familiarity with async/concurrent systems
- ▸Experience with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) and sandboxing
- ▸Understanding of LLM tool-use patterns (function calling, ReAct, etc.)
Nice to Have
- ▸Prior work on AutoGPT, LangChain, or similar agentic frameworks
- ▸Background in operating systems or security research
- ▸Experience building developer-facing APIs
